Hi Toots and welcome to mylot. The short answer is yes, you will get paid. I used to get paid every month without fail but the rates dropped a bit the last couple of months but are now starting to get better as winter starts. I have now been over the $10 limit twice in the last four months but I don't post more than a few a day now - lack of time! haha The secret here in mylot is 'quality'. You will get paid a cent a post or more if your post is about 50 words or more. If your response is a 'one liner' or something like 'I agree' you will get nothing. Sometimes you just want to say something short. Well that's ok too but don't expect to be paid for it. So pick your topic and then have a good chat and try to share your knowledge and feelings! We will all learn and benefit from what you have to say. Once you pass 500 posts you will be paid a cent for any picture you attach to your written contribution. Ok, there is a limit each day - you can't post a 1000! haha If you start a popular discussion you will get a few more cents after 20 or so people have contributed to your discussion. The longer the discussion lasts the more you make so it pays you to check back on your discussions and reply to people who have posted. That way it keeps the interest going and your discussion at the top of the list. But most of all - just have fun here and let the few dollars follow. You won't make a million bucks here but you will enjoy yourself!

hi toots22. welcome to mylot. i would say that i am lucky enough that i have been a member of mylot for the last 7 months. with pride and honor, i would like to share with you that mylot was and is never a scam site. i wouldn't have stayed here that long if this programs was not legitimate. i have gained friends, ideas as well bucks. but the money, i would say, hasn't made me rich. honestly, it's no joke earning here the minimum payout of $10. you've got to render your efforts and time in participating in discussions and posting topics. to attain your goals in reaching the $10, you must contribute good and quality discussions. as someone said here earlier, one liner or short answers do not earn that much. in addition, uploading photos as part of your discussion or responses later on will help increase your earning even by a cent. as the saying goes, you reap what you sow. the harder you work the bigger is your chance to earn higher.good luck to you my friend.
