This National Day's holiday in China, my roomate and I went to climb a montain. As our campus located in Beibei,Chongqing,we first took bus to a jerkwater town BIAN YAN "??" which also belongs to Beibei .There we begin to climb the montain Huaying Shan (???) whose height is only 900 meters.Somehow, we spent 7 persistent hours on the way to the top.At the beginning, we climbed several smaller montains to come to the Guang'an Sichuan province.
All the way along are riprap, the path is very steep , and we were climbing without descending. It took us about 4 hours to get the foot of Huaying Shan from Bian Yan(??) town.We started our traveling at 11:00AM , by that time , it was about 3:00Pm,then we began to climb the Huaying Shan, at last we get the top by the time 6:10.Luckily enough,we were to arrive at the suppper dinner time.
So we had a formal dinner at the top of Huaying Shan, there's a temple,I am sorry I forget its name.Beside it, a new temple was being built.we ate porridge, potato shreds, and some beans, no meat as it's monks' home.
There are many narrow and hard ladders all the way, after we arrived there, we all rushed to have the dinner for we hadn't eaten anything all the afternoon.
The charges of living in the temple have 3 levels. The highest is 15 yuan per person, then 10 per person, at last the 5 yuan per person. It just provides the necessary beds for you, not so comfortable as any hotel. But there you can have a beautiful sunrise. So it's really worthwhile.
7hours climbing, do you like to do it ?Have you ever done the similiar thing?
