I think it really does totally depend on the individual who is having the tattoo, their build, complexion and personal style. I like tattoos on backs but that is probably down to the fact that i like backs in general! They're one of my fvourite body parts. I love a guy with nice broad shoulders and muscle definition in his back...sorry i'm going off the subject! lol

I think that your eyes are very important part of your body and anybody looking at you can get impressed if your eyes are that much attractive. Your eyes comveys the personality of yours. You can tell many things to others with few expressions of eyes and do not need to say even a single word. Just a stare at someone who is trying to steal something of yours will do a lot of work.

I am sorry I had misunderstood the topic and posted this coments. I believe that tattos will not suit you anywhere. If your body is so well built, then the body parts will good only. It is very unnatural to have tatto on your body just to look good. Without tattos also you can look good.

In all honesty it depends on the person, the tattoo and not anything else...what one person may think is a great tat location isnt goin to work for someone else ya know....Only YOU can decide what part of your body a tat would look good on and suit you best ya know..I personally think that ANY body part is suitable but that just me ;-)

Well, I'm not a tattoe person ,but I think is best to have a tattoe in a part of body where nobody can see it just in case you change your mind about tattoes later on in life.

All depends on what you want, where, and how well you can take pain..My first tattoo was my daughters name and birthday onmy shoulder blade..Thats still a work in progress trying to find something pretty to add to it that would work well with my daughter. My second was a beautiful bird..I call it my phoenix, my ex calls it a peacock, others call it a bird of paradise..this one takes up most of my left side..Please get something that means something to you besides getting whats popular at the time..My bird I got as a sign of strength because I was going through and still am going threw some tough times...

It really comes down to a few things. What is your body type, the design and size of the tattoo, what your pain tolerance is, and where you feel is should go. Some things, in general, just don't look good on certain body types. That's not to say you shouldn't get it if it means something to you, but remember you are making a fairly permanent change to your body. Do you really think you're still going to be a huge Sponge Bob Square Pants fan in 25 years? Pain tolerance comes in when you think it's gonna be a GREAT idea to get something done on your hands or feet, but it doesn't work out so well when halfway through you can't take the pain anymore, and the job is half done. Get something on a softer area first to gauge what you can deal with. Other than that, you've just got to use your own style. If you think it looks good, that's what really counts. You should be getting a tattoo for your reasons, not because someone else will like it.

good point. i always feel like having one but i dont know if i can take the pain. i like to put it at the back of my right side shoulder with an eagle, not a butterfly but an eagle. but then again i have to think of the pain:-)
