The site is surveylot. I got a letter in the mail this morning with a check for $1,500 in it. Of course, the letter said that I needed to deposit the check and then send the remainder via Moneygram to someone in Canada. I went through this when I tried to sell my car one time so I already knew it was a scam but I wanted to let all of you know so that you don't end up a victim to a scam. Alot of people have fallen victims to scams like this because they want to see if it will pan out cause they need the money but end up losing money in the process. Please pass this on to anyone else you know that might be a member of the site. I am going there right now to report it. Just remember to be safe & don't forget that if it sounds too good to be true then you can be almost 100% sure that it is too good to be true. Take care!!

Couldn't you just cash the check in and keep the money.

I wish I could just keep the money since Christmas is coming up..LOL Nope, can't keep the money cause it's not a real check and would never clear the bank.

your doing the right thing by turning them in and mailing the letter to the FBI isa great way to help them know about this and if you have myspace scan the letter and put on a bullentin saying warning.

I have dealt with survey sites like inboxdollars.com and they pay out as most do. It does take some time to receive the check though. My post is about scams, not survey sites.
