Hi OURDEW,
Well, with Christmas right around the corner I think I would have to take the money and run lol. A thousand bucks would come in VERY handy for buying my hubby and daughter something REALLY special! Have a great weekend my friend ;)

I would definitely take the $1,000, because I couldn't afford to lose $1,000, it would make me sick if I lost that amount of money. And besides wouldn't a favourite TV star actually CHARGE you for THEIR time? If I had to choose a celebrity it would be a film star like Leonardo DiCaprio as he is by far my favourite actor. Mind you the shock of winning a grand would be greater I think.

I may sount materialistic but I would definitely go home with my $1000 than to stay and chat with some sort of TV star...I mean, what would I get out of that? the memory of chatting with a tv star...so?
We're all humans and TV stars aren't a bit superior to us, so maybe I would leave those $1000 if I could sit and talk a multimillionaire into becoming a sponsor for a business of mine LOL...

Now, that's an easy question. I'd rather win $1000 and go home. I can't think of any star that I'd rather meet, than to receive money. lol That is, unless, the star was going to give me the money. That would be double good.

well my friend i would take the money and run, then i would go splurge with my entire family.to me that would be much better than to meet a famous person.the fun and entertainment with my family is priceless compared to meeting a famous person, but it does sound nice to relax by that pool lol.pattie

Well, if I won $1000 that may hook me and make me want to continue. But if I lost $1000, I would realise that it is not an easy way of getting money. My father (who was a gambler) always said to me when I once lost all my wages in a casino, "Son, that is the best thing that could have happened to you. You won't want to gamble in a hurry again!". It would be a bonus to meet my favourite TV star after losing my $1000 - but I don't think I have a favourite! LOL

I am not at least star struck by celebrities. In my view they are just everyday people with jobs that put them in the spotlight. So I would much rather win the money and go home. I'd probably give it to charity because I am always fascinated by the countless everyday heroes out there who are making life changing decisions in order to live and thrive rather than just survive.
Now taking to one of them by the pool..and having the money to share with them...now that is something I'd love to have happen!
Cheers,
Raia

I would definitely want to win $1000. There's no celebrity that I care to meet enough to pass up $1000 for. The cash would make far more impact in my life than chating with a celebrity by the pool!

I have no idea how much we lost but I am sure that it was around $1000 BUT we did get to meet Vince Neil from Motley Crue when he opened his tattoo shop last Novemeber. He was nice enough to stop and take a few pictures with us. We had a blast and would have enjoyed it even if we wouldnt have met him, but it was a nice bonus.
