Why do people put movie stars pictures on their image?

People can do what they like. I stick my own picture up just because I feel like it. You don't have a picture of anything.

They do so bcuz they are n't as much beautiful as actors/actoress are. Well, its me on my picture n't any actoress.

Well you haven´t even bothered putting any image at all so you can´t criticise other people´s images!! The image a person chooses to be their avatar is a reflection of themselves and should be whatever they want.

I haven't put image of movie star but I have put a image of krishna, the wonderful, enchanting, beautiful, handsome Krishna. The Guide of this universe.

People put pictures of movie stars as their images because so many people are so obsessed with trying to look like the biggest movie star or singer, so much so they go to such lengths that they will wear what they wear try act like they do have an attitude like they do, i think it is absolutely ridiculous, be yourself for goodness sake the way you see Paris Hilton for example she isnt like that 24 7 @ the end of the day they just normal people with feelings emotions and heartache just like every human they no more special only difference is their bank balances, which isnt happiness at the end of the day

Good question...I think people identify or relate themselves with that star...

I think it is because they are not happy with their looks... or, they don't have a good picture of themselves!

There are two reasons: 1] They don't want to put their original pic in public. @] They are fan of that movie star.

well for the sake of privacy. and as they dont apply their own photo, hence they apply a pic who appears closer to their self image. like a man who like's building muscles will apply the image of arnold. (p.s look at my pic of russell crowe. now what do u think about me haha)
