Global warming ? How to prevent it ?

it is not a small topic and it is one of my fav. topic in short i can say that be natural and try to be close to natur as much as u can u'll feel great about that.and that wull be a great help towards nature.

Hello there. I believe everyone needs to put in effort to reduce the global warming effects. Government, private companies, individuals.. etc need to put in their efforts. As an individual, we must practice the 3 Rs in our daily lives. 1. Reduce - reduce the usage of energy consuming activities ie. turning off air conditioner when not in use, use public transport instead of cars 2. Reuse - ie. Use unwanted plastic bags to bag garbage. As plastic is non-biodegradable and burning it gives off poisonous gases, it's important to both reduce the usage of plastic and reuse them. 3. Recycle - ie. Make recycled paper at home and decorate it for use as a greeting card or wrapping paper, purchase recycled products. This is what I am trying to do as an individual. I hope it helps our Mother Earth!

Act in smart environmental ways (recycle, turn of lights and devices when they're not use, encourage friends to do the same) and be sure to vote for politicans and legislation that will reduce the crisis. Support local changes that will also reduce the issue; there's lots of stuff communities can do.

Not using Aerosol cans/bottles helps save the ozone, and therefore, global warming. The previous mylotters are right about the energy efficient items - lights and such. My husband and I are not using our dishwasher anymore. That is more to help with the drought here in Atlanta, but I guess in the long run, it would help. :-) Let's Save Our Planet - do what you can!!! ~Issa~

Global Warming terrifies me - too many people are oblivious to its effects. I do my little bits - I recycle, I sold my car so now I walk everwhere, My washing at a lower temperature, turn off sockets that arn't being used. Really though it's the governments that need to get their thumbs out - there the ones in control, more money for wind farms and solar panels etc.

It is about getting everyone to do even a tiny bit to make a difference. I grow my own veg, so I cut down on food miles, we have one car - but only use it about once a week, we recycle everything, and we try to use the greenest energy possible, and have car inusurance that offsets your emissions.

The main reason for an increase in the global atmospheric temperature us due to greenhouse gas concentrations. An increase in global temperatures is expected to cause changes, including sea level rise, increased intensity of extreme weather events, and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors. What can be done about this? What is your government doing about this? What are you doing about this?

This is a big topic. I think we have to reduce the pollution and plant more trees. We have spoiled our planet seriously. We create many rubbish everyday and we occupy many lands to build the skyscrapers.
