I believe the nuclear deal should b completed as soon as possible. It were best in the nations interest too to conclude it while president Bush is still in office.

according to me,india should not accept nuclear deal with U.S....india has no benifit in this nuke deal..we lose if we accept it..the nuclear power plant is so much costly to construct and more cosltier to destroy..instead of concentrating on nuclear power,we can concentrate on renewable energy resources like wind energy, solar energy..it can give more power and at less cost..also we should produce any nuclear weapons if we sign this deal...its our freedom to produce it or not..but we shouldnot produce nuclear weapons for forty years if we sign it..Finally,we are more disadvantages than advantages in this nuclear deal with U.S...

As u r aware,France a country which the lowest per capita carbon emissions and low power charges in europe obtains 80% of its electricity from Nuclear power. Also with the current chages in wind pattern, power production has been hit hard.As for solar power still large installation costs and lack of technological knowledge makes it unviable. Why not nuclear energy? ItS installation cost may b high. But as u know The tarapur light water Reactors produce power at the cheapest cost.Besides Light water reactors dont need frequent maintenance. So in the long term these reactors will provide for energy security as well. By signing the deal, though initially we have to b subordinate to US,after v establish ourselves with the NSG v can shift our dependence from US to a global arena,in which India would b a vital player. The deal won't curtail IndiaS military programmes.Since it will b mainly seen by the Us and its allies as a move to check ChinaS military might. So the really is no constrain on our nuclear arsenal. Wat else is ur concern.

By nuclear deal, I'm assuming you're referring to the India-US Nuclear Deal. Why should it be complete, not to mention under President Bush. It's a conflicting dichotomy - on one hand, he's trying to remove nuclear materials altogether from countries such as Iran, but on the other hand, giving India the capabilities. Under the deal, India would place its civilian nuclear technology (no mention of government) under international surveillance. Moreover, with new capabilities, the country will have the ability to continue its fight with Pakistan.
