Will you say good night to your spouse?

Hello youless!:-) We didn't use to say good night, each night, formally. Some times we said and other times, just like you, one went asleep, so did the other. But, there is another interesting thing too, that saying good night seldom worked in our case, LOL! Most of the times, if one of us said good night, you would find us talking to each other again after a few minutes. It seemed never ending and then one of us would just go asleep. It doesn't mean that one should or shouldn't say that, it's just that it rarely worked in my case:-)

My husband usually comes home after i am already asleep.. but when he does get home i have a tendency to wake up.. not a sound sleeper... then i get up pee and then we kiss each other goodnight.. he comes to bed we snuggle and we say sweet dreams... i can not sleep comfortably if we do not say good night to one another.. its like that saying dont go to bed mad at one another... also dont go to bed without wishing eachother a good night

most of times, i will say goodnight to my spouse. coz i love to do it. but if i was so tired and getting sleep early, i wont do that LOL...in fact, he will whisper good night to me and cover me with blanket ;)

No, we do not say, good night to each other, since we sleep together on the same bed so we do not feel like saying 'good night' to each other. Moreover, I am from India and it is not a customary practice to say 'Good Night' to each other, before sleeping.

We would pray before sleep and kiss each other then say good night. It is a routine for both of us. We can't sleep if we can't do that routine. Happy posting. Have a great day!

Yes most defintely my spouse and I say nite nite to each other every night. Yeah like you we would talk many things before fall asleep then one of us who is falling asleep (which is always me in the case) would say nite nite and then its off to sleep.

We normally dont say good night to each other but more importantly our actions say it all much more than good night when we go to sleep. I would normally wait for him to be there by my side to see that i sleep well before he goes back to his work researching stocks for investments.

I don't have a spouse yet:-) I live with my parents now.When I was younger,I said good night to my daddy and mummy every night before i went to bed.But I don't say it now,for I sleep late at night while my parents go to bed early.Usually when I go back home they have already slept. I think saying good night is very nice.

I say good night to my hunny everynight. We try to spend a few min cuddling. Then I give him a smooch and we go to bed. Some nights if hes really tired and had a long hard day he falls asleep almost as soon as he hits the pillow. I still tell him I love him and give him a kiss.

We always say goodnight to each other and give a kiss, also. It is our way of ending the day. I do not believe that I could a good night's sleep , if we did not say goodnight to each other. We also say good morning to each other. It is our way of beginning each day.

Hello youless, Sometimes it is the same case with us like you do, but sometimes we say good night to each other before falling asleep.

I like to talk with my hubby before we fall in sleep.So we will also talk a little bit abotu what happen in the day or what we wil do next day.Also i would lay on his shoulder then kiss him and say good night and get on my side and we both we fall in sleep.

i am not yet married so will have to wait a long time to respond to this discussion. ;)

Yes i always say goodnight to him even we had an unsettled arguments before going to bed..I always say I love you and goodnight then next morning were okay and problems fix..

Night have own enjoyment if you are with spouse then this enjoyment become double.

I do not take notice whether we say good-night to each other. it is not that we are not going to see each other again, because we do sleep in the same bed. I will say that I am tired and will go to bed, but that is about all. I am not a heavy sleeper, so I will not go to sleep soon, but I will doze. Saying good-night means that you are going to fall asleep as soon as you hit the pillow and I cannot do that.

Yes we still say good night to each other and we still give each other our goodnight kiss. WE talk a lot before we sleep and I end up always in his arms. Then when we felt that we are both sleepy then we just say it, then say good night then have our good night kiss.. then that is a very good night sleep. I dont know but maybe we are just used doing that.

I do say good night to my spuse and even give him a hearty hug and a passionate kiss before we sleep. We are so used to that. Our night seems to be incomplete without it. Even our kids says good night to us and kiss us.

We dont really say goodnight but we always say I love you to one another before we go to sleep and I always give him a kiss if he doesnt me.He goes to bed before me because I dont sleep well.

My spouse and I always say good night.....even if one of us is staying up later to work or watch a show....we have always made it a point to say good night and give each other a good night kiss.
