Halo 3 V gears of war!

the awesome trilogy of fighting aliens and whatever else comes its way including rings that can destroy plannets, or choose gears which has great online and campaign and storyline. please tell which you like better and explain why!

How do you get off comparing the two of these? One is a third-person shooter, wich has more tactical elements to it than Halo 3. Halo 3 is an FPS that has a confusing story and God-awful voice-acting.

although i can see that you favor gears of war over halo 3, i do have to remind you that halo3 does have a cast of famous actors. just depicting that they were different type shooters was good enough for your reply!

Halo has the best online multiplayer mode and a very good story mode but i would choose gears for its campaign cause its a very fun experience and cant wait for gears 2 to be coming out.

Gears of War
funny for a chick to say but I like it my fiance and I play split screen. I think that Halo 3 is just too animated for my taste and Gears of war looks a little more realistic.We also play with my fiances brother and usually we team up on everybody. look for us sometime. I'm pretty good at it now.... look for tjlkiller if you haven't already met him goldenshower999 and me fecalmatters

Gears of War. Even H3's graphics can be challenged by the GoW. Gameplay-wise, GoW has more action and the story is a bit more interesting.

halo 3, coz no.1 greatest story line ever, no.2 the xbox live owns all other games.

i like gears of war way better because it is more realistic and halo is kind of too animated.Plus in Gears of war its really into statics to win.
