I am wondering if any of you have ever knit one of those curly-looking scarves they are showing in all the knitting magazines. It's kind of hard to describe, it has a corkscrew shape to it. I am thinking about trying to knit one. I am left-handed so it can get tricky if the pattern does not have even/equal sides. Please let me know if you've knit one of these scarves and how it turned out. Thanks.

I just made two of them. They are easy and fun. I made them on circular needles, size 13. Cast on 80 stitches. knit three rows. increase in every stitch (160 stitches). knit three rows. increase again in every stitch (320 stitches). knit three rows. Bind off. That's it! The first one was smaller than I wanted, so I made another one, starting with 100 stitches. Then I knit 4 rows instead of three. increase in every stitch (200 stitches) knit 4 rows, Increase again in every stitch (400 stitches). knit 4 rows. Bind off.

Thank you, pamelakk459 for your pattern. I printed it out. I have either a Coats and Clark or Lion Brand Pattern to make one and it's very similar to your pattern. The pattern I have is 11 rows, starting with 110 cast on stitches and 2nd row doing a yo every other stitch. I went ahead and started the scarf late last night. Thanks again for the pattern! I will try yours next.
