Was Adam and Eve really the first? I have asked many this question and many have been stumped including church leaders. I ask this because I know there were Giants and Fallen Angels but I wondetr if the Bible was only written to include people who originated from Adam and Eve in the image of God. I ask this because at that time I only hear of Adam,Eve,Cane and Abel. Ok, so then when Cane gets outcast to the wilderness where does he find others to take a wife? If there were others not made from Gods image to me this would explain a lot and create many new questions. To me this would explain how some people seem savage and conscienceless and do unspeakable things. What's your take?

I do belive that the sons of god were those that worshiped God and the daughtes of man were those women that did not fworship God because about that time God became so angry with man that he decided to destory him. Angels cannot reproduce.

In chapter 5 of Genesis, there is a geneology of Noah from Adam. For each man it say that that person begot XY (probably his first born son), and also for each it say that he begot OTHER SONS AND DAUGHTERS. It says that for Adam too. I made a calculation of about what could have been the population of the Earth. I supposed that each person had 5 children (1 firstborn, 2 sons, and 2 daughters), so I simply multiplied previous generation population with 5. Since there was 10 generations, I did this 10 times, so according to this the population of the earth could have been at least 9 765 525 people.
The Bible actually names 3 sons for Adam (Cain, Abel, Seth). The above calculation icludes only the children of Seth. We don't know whether Abel had daugthers or not (I suppose that he did have, because of the nomadic lifestyle of ancient times required so (women took care of house, children, etc)). Calculating with only Seths daughters, there must have been at least 4 women Cain could marry (2 from Adam and 2 from Seth).
It is also interesting that from Adam to Abraham about 2000 years passed, from Abraham to Jesus about 2000 years passed and since Jesus about 2000 years passed.
For more info about Genesis look at answersingenesis.org, very interesting site.

One other thing: the Bible never says that you have to "be in love" (have crush on, etc) with your wife, only to love her (like loving other humans).

In Genesis 5:3 it says that adam was 130 years old when Seth was born but it doesnt say when his daughters were born nor how many he had. Adam lived to be over 900 years and presumabaly Eve lived almot as long if not as long. since man had so much vitality Eve could have produced up to 900 children if she had a child every year. They were in such good health that this could have happened. Even if she only had 500 childen and those children had a large number of children it wouldn't take long for the population to sorta of explode. So Cain would have a number of sisters or nieces to chose a wife from befor he went to Nod. Angels cannot reproduce so the giants could not be their children. That is one of the things that made Satan so made. He could not porcreat or creat any thing. He can manipulate but noy creat. The sons of man mentioned are those who did not follow God's word. There is a school of thought that Adam was about 14 ft tall and that might be where the giants came from or it is speaking of great leaders.

You probably missed the verse which says Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. Search the scriptures, I will intentionally not cite the verse no. here so that you will learn more.

I know the verseyou speak of but that was later and there's also the verse (KJV)Genesis 5:4, suggests to me that he didn't have anymore children until after Seth was born.

Adam gave Eve her name, which basically meant she was the mother of all humans living. Therefore, there could not have been more that were created by God, or anyone else for that matter. (God is actually the only one with the ability and right to create.) We also read in the New Testament that sin entered the world through the one man, Adam. Therefore, if God had created others, He never gave them a chance in the Garden, therefore not giving them the chance not to sin.
We know that Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel, but we don't know that they did not have daughters first or in between. We simply know they had daughters. One of these would have been Cain's wife.

I don't know, it sounds plausible enough, I just think there's more to it. I don't know why they wouldn't be mentioned and all from Cane and his wife on are listed. It also doesn't mention Cane having a wife until after he went to Nod.However it does state how worried Cane was about 'every one' who finds him will slay him.
