CSI: New York 3:33am caller story arc similar to CSI LV's miniature killer

I just seen Season 4 ,episode 1 of CSI:NY and I noticed that the thing about the 3:33am calls Mac Taylor have been receiving. Do you think this case would be a similar to CSI:LV's miniature killer story arc? What's your opinion.

It is similiar to the miniature killer. Strange how the miniature was after Grissom (who's in charge) and the 333 caller also was after the person in charge - Mac!! Was interesting as you found more about the character Mac as it was from something that happened in his childhood. Instead of the the miniatures the CSI's had the jigsaws to put together and figure out what the missing pieces of the jigsaw meant, why some had green crosses and the other blue crosses. Stella was also involved in the plan of the 333 caller just like Sara was in the miniature killers!!! Come on CSI writers - think of different scripts for the different shows please!!!
