cat tinea

Last month my husband and i had picked up one stray cat when taking a walk.
Subsequently,I have skin damage on discovering an arm.Damage skin bulges,itches very much,has the eschar phenomenon.
Doctor said it's a Cat Tinea.
I have used medicine a monthly,but still not having got better.My body other's grown a few.
Who have way to well quickly?

...Tinea are ringworms and, I am assuming, "cat tinea" is the form of ringworm the stray cat you found is carrying. In humans, this is treated with topical ointments for a period of seven to ten days.
...My suggestion to you is have the cat dewormed and for you to go back to your doctor and ask for a more aggressive form of treatment. If the cat still has them, you can be reinfected. If you have been using this medication for a month and have not gotten rid of it, you need to be seen again.
...When using these topical ointments, you must be persistant and consistant. Do not miss a treatment! There maybe an oral medication you can take. I do not know what is available to you.
