What do you think about Dinesh Karthik?

I suppose you didn't watch him play against australia in last one day match. I saw was one of the ODIs, guess the last one, in England.I saw on the news that he caught (was that Ponting) off the other Karthik's bowling. He could've been a sub.

As far as i think Dinesh karthik is a player who should be in the team in every format of the game. He is excellent in the field, he has proved himself as an opening batsman in test matches and a very handy middle order batsman in onedayers.Remember the catch he took of Graeme Smith of south afrika in T20 worldcup, it just fired up everyone.He is mentally very strong too.

dinesh karthik is an excellent player with great temperament... he is a match winner who could deliver under pressure. He is a live wire on the filed with full of energy and enthusiasm. He knows how to adapt to situations, unlike players like sehwag or afridi who has just one gear and that is to attack all the time! i haven't seen much of rohith sharma so i cannot say who is better at the moment. For what little we got to see about rohith sharma i think he is also a very promising player, his quick 30 odd runs against Pakistan in t20 final was crucial. So i'm not really in a position to choose between the two at this point. Lets hope both will have promising careers for india
