With whom should we play more cricket matches?

India plays a lot of cricket matches with teams like pakistan. Recently we had a series with australia. But we dont seem to play with other teams like zimbabwe or new zealand. And more number of games are played with pakistan or srilanka. What do you guys think? Which teams should we concentrate playing with more on? I think we should play more games with aussies and south africa so that we can improve our cricket.

I agree with your opinion that India should play tougher teams like Aus and S.A.and build a strong team we have all the caliber but lack self confidence should we work on this then no team can win us

i also have very similar thinking of what you have in your mind, we have not been playing much with teams like new zealand or sri lanka or south africa, I don't know why, probably it could do with the commercial interest of BCCI, to earn more money with playing mostly against teams like australia and pakistan.

currently the system is like. this.. evey icc member team should tour every other team once in 4 years and even those cricket constitute large amount of cricket. And beyond that there is champions trophy, world cup and now the twenty 20 champion ships. Now every touring team will also be playing few 20-20 games aswell and there will also be minor tournaments as well which will make a really tight schedule for the players. under the current system its not possible to choose few teams and play with them more. In the coming days lot more new nations will emerge in the cricketing world and that will make it even tougher for team to play each other all the time.
