Is mahendra Singh Dhoni better captain than Saurav Ganguly...?!?!

Saurav Ganguly is regarded as the most successful captain of India. he, himself, opened the innings and lead from the front. His approach was quite aggressive. But as soon as Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been appointed as the captain. He has done wonders. He had won the ICC T-20 WC which nobody expected he could. A good fight against mighty Austrlians winning 3 of the last 5 matches including a 20-20 match. Do u think Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as a captain is even better than Saurav??!?!

may be,but i think is sure that he is lack of experinece as captain .in that case sourav is good captain and the other thing india is facing is the captain will not play a normal cricket as he done before that was agreat backlog to india

No, I feel that saurav ganguly was more better captain than dhoni who seems to lack that instinct reaction and instinct judgement that ganguly was having in his captaincy days.

yes as every body has mentioned we should wait little bit more time to see what dhoni is made up off. He is definitely a good captain, but has he got it in him to make a great captain? lets wait and see. He looks really a big brother to his boys... i saw him advising sreesanth at Cochin to cool him down and put some sence into his head. Twenty20 is a very quick and short game, and there is not much importance for stratagey it than we do in 50-50 or Test matches. Every thing happens in a flash and the element of luck is also huge. so i feel dhohi will have to tighten things up for the other versions of the game. Ganguly on the other hand has proven himself to be a good captain capable of bringing best results for the team... so lets wait and see...

Lets give MS Dhoni a decent time to build as an captain then giving him the status of better Captain right now.

Its too early to come to conclusion about the captaincy of Dhoni.Yes saurav was a great aggressive captain.But to judge Dhoni we need to see his performance for another 3-4 series.

its early to say that..but i feel dhoni can become a better captain than ganguly...i think he s not as selfish as ganguly

well ganguly is a better captain than dhoni may be a much more aggresive captain than dhoni is,but i am sure dhoni wil improve with time

it is too early to say. i think he is confident and aggressive but the thing is saurav had a different clas and understanding and i dnt fint that in dhoni yet. he can be a successful capatain in time and we shoudl understand and shoudl give him time. let him make a few msitakes so that he can learn but f he rep. the mistakes then it will not be accepted.

ya, I believe Dhoni proved best captain uptill now, not only better than ganguli but I believe better than dravid too. at such young age only he proved himself as good captain after winning T-20 WC and create history. In near future he will increase success graph of our Indian team I am sure. Cheers!

Mahendra singh Dhoni has did fantastic job as a captain and so is Sourav Ganguly. We should not compare them . Sourav has proved himself over a period of time as a captain and player . Let mahendra give some time to settle and prove consistently . We should not get carried away so soon. It will be harfull for him as well as to our faith on him in a long run. So lets be carefull while comparing these to wonderfull players.
