Do you think every decision we make in life is predetermined?

I was just sitting here thinking about where I'm at in my life and got to thinking about the things that have happened in my life that put me here. Which led me to thinking about what got me to those points, which led me to thinking about all the things that happened before that. In other words, I can go back to when I was about 11 and pinpoint everything that has put me where I'm at today. If I had done just 1 thing different, what would my life be like today? So that got me wondering if all the choices we make in life are of our own free-will, or are they already determined for us by a higher power and we just think we're making the choice to do whatever it is we choose? Do you think the course of our lives is set from the day we are born, or can we change the outcome? And if we can change it, is that part of the original plan?

Our life is predestined? God said that He knows us even before we were born? We are fearfully and wonderfully made. But in the context of decisions or choices, allow me to say that it's not predestined or predetermined. If there's one thing that God cannot touch, that is our free will. He gave us our free will to choose. Him or the Devil? Good or Bad? Left or Right?
But here's the secret, whatever you choose, God will definetely know it. If you made the right choice He will rejoice and He will be glorified. If you made the wrong choice, it's up to you if you will let Him save you from the pitfall. Again, it'll be a choice. Besides, if you're with God, it's less likely you will fall into wrong choices.

I believe our life is a journey and is determined by the choices we make or by the events that happen during our life. I truly believe that things happen for a reason and therefore the fact that you never said goodbye to Jeff, obviously left the door slightly open for a future meeting.
Now you have met one another after all this time, make sure you do not lose touch again. Remember we can determine our future by the people we invite into our lives, the memory you still have is a comfort to you as when you fell Jeff was there to care for you and maybe you haven't felt quite like that since then. I hope that a wonderful friendship /relationship can now grow between you both after loosing each other for such a long time.

In short no I dont think so yeah things we did early make an impact but I dont believe that everything we do is already set out in some great big book of life. It would make me sad to think that cos it means theres no point thinking anything cos its already gonna happen no matter what you choose. I think ultimately you as a person control your future and you can change your destiny so to speak.
