I need some advice!

My hubby recently came home and told me "Honey, put on your project clothes!". I should've known then this was gonna be some work. He brought home a kitchen table and chairs that needed to be refinished. So after hours of stripping it down, sanding, and painting, it's almost done. The only problem is, since he won't let me use the spray paint in the house, I had to do it on our back patio. Well, it rained. Now the top of the table is bubbled, and I REALLY don't want to go through all the sanding and repainting again. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!!
