Paid surveys online

Hi. Have you ever heard of paid surveys on the net? They say they pay you 5$ for each survey you complete. But it's that way, what the profit for these companies??

I do some paid surveys and they pay pretty well i mean for an online extra money LOL
I use a few different sites to make extra money I wish i could take all the surveys then it would be Great money :)

no the three that i have been sucessful with all send checks by mail

Paid surveys do pay well when we compare the time we need to put in for the reward.The payout per survey would vary from survey to survey. The payout method too vary. Some pay in local currency others pay via paypal and still others send a gift cheques in dollars. One of them issued gift certificates which can be used to shop online.

These companies earn a lot just for delivering our opinion to their customers. It is indeed very profitable for them even if we think they can't earn a lot if they give us $5 per survey. i am a member of TreasureTrooper (if you're not a member yet check my profile;)) and they have a lot of paying surveys about "what do you like more whooper or big mac" andmany others:P Some companies want to know these thing to be able to improve their product and promote them better to sell more.
