Can we fall in love with ALLAH(GOD)?

Many people especially Muslims believe and also say that a person can fall in love with ALLAH(GOD)? Is it TRUE? If so, then do you love ALLAH(GOD)? In what respect? Explain your answer.

the only true god is the father the son and the holy spirit 3 in one praise the lord the only way to the father is througth jesus christ thats the only way allah is not god not true god

For Muslims, ALLAH is GOD. For Christians, GOD THE FATHER is our GOD. I think its a different level of love. We show our love to GOD by doing the right things and following his will. As everyone says, SIN is the one the breaks the LOVE that binds people to GOD. With that, I think it applies the same for our Muslim brothers and sisters.

I think the answer to this question would be different for each person. For me, the answer is no. I would not be able to fall "in love" with God. I recently left organized religion, and part of the reason is that I just didn't feel a real connection with God, especially at church. I know that sounds weird, but for me God was more of an intellectual pursuit and a determination to believe rather than a true feeling of love.
