I was wondering if anyone has any tips for finding markets for your work more quickly. It seems to be taking me an incredibly long time to find the proper markets.
I have written a childrens book, many articles, and a few short stories, but it seems to take so long to find the proper markets.
Any tips?

In Two thousand and five (sorry the two key on my keyboard is stuck!!) I published a cookbook of Danish recipes that also featured stories of my family gatherings around my grandparents big dining room table. My husband has three science fiction books published. Both of us self published through lulu.com He purchased a special ISBN through him that allows his books to be listed in the databases bookstores use. I need to upgrade my ISBN so that I will have the same privilage.

By the way, I think that the family gatherings idea is a great one. I am planning to make cookbooks for my daughters with little snippets of information, but not nearly as in depth as what you have done.
