I have always liked the song by Frank Sinatra, My Way. I feel the words in this song are so true that I would like to have it sang at my funeral. I don't think it would be possible to give a better testament to your life than to be able to say, "I did it my way." No matter the outcome, people should all have a chance to live life on their own terms-not to satisfy everyone else.

i love it so much.everymorning,when i open my eyes,the first thing is turn on the radio,play this song.it's remind me that i'm still alive and i gonna live better. but maybe the version we listerns are different.i know this song from a japanese singer Chara.

your version probably has different lyrics, the version that's widely known - as done by Sinatra - was writen by Paul Anka, who put new words to the tune of a French song (I think it was origanaly a love song). I like Sid Vicious' adaption myself "Today I killed a cat, but I say, not in a gay way"!

thanks,i check this out,although the tune and singer are different,the lyrics is the same.:) yes,The origin version was sang by frank.I know this song from a famous movie"swallowtail butterfly". That are amazing version also,maybe you can try it.

It is amazing, marabdl, that certain things have no boundaries when it comes to age, ethnicity, etc. Some things are eternal.

That is so true. If we try to satisfy other people we will be very unhappy indeed. We can only live once so lets make it on our own terms.

We were just talking about this today at work. We think that we need to start living each day as if it were our last. We need to do things the way that we want to and how we want to. We need to live our lives for ourselves and no one else!!
