When i quit my first job... i had no experience in other job areas but i kept telling myself that this job is not the only thing for me... there are other jobs out there and the only thing we can do is to look for that job... Now i am working in a company that is not at all connected to my first job but i am very happy with it...

dear miaocecilia, As you know, job plays a important role in our lives. I hope you can take it seriously, you have to conside your ability on other area, After all, you have 9-year experience on your area. and it is not easy to find a new job

Is there any other type of work you want to do? Does this field require more schooling? If so, keep your job but cut your hours so you can train in your new field. And when you are finish training or going to school, and have a great chance to get another job in the new field, that is when you quit your job. But if what you want to do doesn't require more schooling, then go for it. Look around for a job in that field get one and then quit your current job. Follow your bliss. Life is too short to do something you don't like. Good luck.
