I rather use gmail better than yahoo mail.
On yahoo, after you login, you never redirect to inbox, you need to make one more click.
Gmail is faster even though they use adsense, it's just text, not like yahoo mail, too many banner ads.
If you try to use the java mail version, you're forced to see ads, if you want to remove the ads, you need to purchase yahoo mail plus.
I saw many good points from gmail.
-Even though yahoo have email feature long before gmail, but gmail is the first one provide bigger storage.
-Gmail is a pioneer on java email so it load faster and really reliable.
-Gmail is a pioneer on java chat, you don't need to install messenger and yahoo follow this feature
-Gmail have lots of add-ons like Calendar, Documents, Photos,Groups,Web in one simple navigation.
-After sending, replying email on gmail, you're automatically took to inbox, in yahoo you need to do more click
What do you think?

Gmail has a large, growing email capacity while others including Yahoo mail do not have.
Yahoo mail isn't too bad at all, especially its spam filter. However, I dislike the fact that when you select your email to marked as read, the selection will be gone after a refresh. It would be nice to have the selection still on as I may want to move the mails to another folder etc

Yes, your description is right anyway.
Could you imagine, from now on, gmail have so many feature added.
Here what I found :
-Analytics, use this to improve your site and increase marketing ROI
-Blogger, create your own blog for free
-Calendar, store your schedule for reminder
-Docs, create web base doc files
-Groups, creating maling list to your own community
-Page Creator, easy to use for newbie that don't have any website knowledge
-Talk, chat with people on your address book without requirement to install messenger
-Webmaster Tools, manage your website with this tools
What else do you need anyway?

If we talking about which one is the best use email, I mean in ergonomical reason, it always depends on what email did you used anyway.
Some emails are hard in navigation, but when you use it everyday, you won't see any problem and feel comfortable with that kind of feature.
The problem is, in example when I used to use gmail and you used to use yahoo mail, I might say gmail is the best and you will say yahoo is better.
I don't think we can just judge a free email service in that way.
What I could see is, yahoo mail does not have forwarding feature while gmail does. If you want that email forwarding feature, you need to pay for monthly charge.
I think it's a good point from gmail.
What if we have few emails, we want to make things simple and easier to work, I think email forwarding feature is really useful for that.
This is just my opinion friends, I don't want to debate anyway :)
