Convert doc to rtf

How to convert a word doc file into a rtf file? What extra things will I need for this. I am in UK.

Hi,
First, you have to open the .doc file that you want to convert. Then choose file - Save As.
At the file name, type .rtf at the end of the title. if you see .doc at the end of the title, replace the doc by rtf. Then Save it.

just use MsWord. Under save as u can just select .rtf or copy the all the words in the .doc into wordpad =)
