Yahoo Messanger Problems

Has anyone else experienced problems with messanger ?? ? I am never able to stay logged in for more than 5 min before it kicks me off and then I have to sign back in. Its irratating when I am trying carry a conversation with a friend, and I don't know if there is anything I can do to make it behave. LOL

yes I had this problem for some time and I had to change my connection setting in my preferences in yahoo to make it stop, also if that dosnT help uninstall it and than reinstall.

You might be behind some firewalls in your computer or you must be behind some proxy server (mostly in office settings), try disabling both and try again, you might not have this problem.

Actually it is not the yahoo messenger that has a problem but your connection. your internet connection is experiencing a heavy or busy load with other internet user. there are time you cannot connect at all but it is not the ym.you have to use a broad band.

I believe that is not the YM problem because I also had experienced with this thing. It's about your internet connections, it's not stable and affect request time out on your YM.
