Headmaster of Hogwarts recently came out of the closet, courtesy of J.K. Rowling herself. See my post about it at http://tesstermulo.com.
For me, I don't think we should be bothered by it. Rather, I appreciate that Rowling shared that little secret with the fans. It doesn't matter if Dumbledore is gay or not. He's still a good person.

So I started the same discussion yesterday, and today it magically was not on my profile. Apparently the word 'gay' is not allowed on MyLot? I love that she wrote her characters to have such elaborate back stories. It just makes the books have more meaning to me. Dumbledore is one of my all time favorite characters and I applaud Rowling for including all kinds of people in her books.
