lately there are thousands of shredders mushrooming around guitar world but no one can even come close to malmsteen!people dont like malmsteen because they cant play his simple song so tagging himemotionless guitarist but in my vuew he is genious!

See, it usually takes a guitarist (Such as myself) to really appreciate Malmsteen's skill. Lots of people will say his stuff sounds 'plain' or 'repetitive', but his style is brilliant. The reason it's not as colorful as some have hoped is his TONE. Listen carefully to him, and you'll understand. His tone isn't as watered down by effects, like so many others are. One can only assume he's a 'purist', who doesn't appreciate the idea of prettying up his playing with cheap tricks and effects.

yes malmsteen is one of my favorites.he is one of the best.But sometimes i thinks he sounds a bit monotonous.in that case i think buckethead has lot of versatility into his compositions,

Absolutely.
Malmsteen is probably the most recognizable lead guitarist out there. His style is so intensely melodic and fast that people overlook it because of its speed.
You can't blame them if it goes over their heads.
