San Diego, Southern California Fires

Have you or anyone you know been evacuated from your home because of the Southern California Fires? What someone to talk to? I used to live in san diego just 10 months ago and i found out today that the area where i lived has been evacuated. the lake that was by my house that i fished at is currently going up in flames. Im now in san francisco so i am not going thru it exactly but i have friends that have been evacuated and my heart is torn for everyone that is having to go thru this major disaster. this is hard enough for me, i can only imagine what everyone that lives near there is going thru. I am praying for everyone. if you need someone to talk to im here. or if you just want to express your views and opinions feel free.

I'm in Ventura County like the last poster. The smoke has made it very hard for me to breathe. My brother was evacuated and feels like I do things can be replaced, but people can't so he left with his family when asked taking important papers, pictures and his children's favorite items.

My brother-in-law goes to school at San Diego State, but he has been unaffected because he lives in an apartment near campus. He tels me that they can see the smoke and that it's pretty much covering the entire sky.
I used to live in San Diego, too. A lot of my college classmates or their families lived in that area. It's amazing to see exactly what is happening there and be so closely connected with the area. I used to live in Mission Valley, but when I hear Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Escondido, etc., it's hits so close to home. Then I just moved down here to Ventura County from the San Francisco Bay Area and we've got the Porter Ranch fire, the Santa Clarita fire, and the Malibu fire all around us. It's just so crazy.
I also hope that everyone is okay and that we can get through this ASAP.
