Southern California Wildfires

As I look out my front window I can see Big Bear Mountain enshrouded in smoke. I live in the small community of Highland, California, which is nestled at the base of Big Bear Mountain right where Hwy 330 goes up into the mountain communities. It was only a short four years ago that we had a similar event where the mountains burned for days and firefighters were valiantly fighting the raging enfernos.

I live in Pomona and Glendora, California and we are lucky that we have not had any fires here, or threat of fires, yet, but I do feel for those who are going through this. I empathize.
