How many pets do you have and why?

I have one pet...a dog. Unfortunately, I just found out that my daughter is allergic to them, so my puppy is gonna have to find a new home.

We only have a pair of goldfish in a fishbowl at home. My kid has an allergic rhinitis, thus we cannot have anything furry. Fish are very easy to maintain unlike cats and dogs where you have to bathe them on top of their very unpleasant smelling pooh and pee. Also, fish food is very much cheaper than dog food.
