How do you mylot? Do you read everyone elses responses when you respond to a discussion? Do you skip the tag making process? Do you ever read discussions and not respond? Do you look at the pictures attached to discussions? Do you read the description it has? How do you feel when the person who started the discussion doesnt respond to your response? What do you look at when you look at peoples profiles?
I dont read everyone elses responses. I skip the tag making process. I used to always make a tag but then I realized you could skip it and I got lazy about it. I have read discussions and decided not to respond. I always look at the pictures attached to discussions and read the description about it. I feel sad when people dont respond to my response but I rarely check back to see if they answered it anyways so its not a big deal. When I look at peoples profiles I look at their avatar, age, gender, where they live, the discussions they have started, how many friends they have and their pictures.

I sometimes, depending on the conversation, skim over the other responses. I skip the tag thing because I just don't care enough...and if it wants me to add that interest I almost always say no.
I don't really look at profiles. I don't look at photos.
Pretty much I just respond to discussions I think are interesting...be it through email or searching on mylot.

Ha ha. It's Donnie Wahlberg.
The picture is from a New Kids on the Block tour book I got way back in the day when I saw them. I loved them...and he was like my first "crush"... so that's why I'm kissing him and the caption is "First Loves never die"

Let's see, my Method of Operation -
First, is the original post just a few hours old, and a "Best Response" is already designated? SKIP
Is the post several months old, and a best response is chosen, and I think I can contribute to the discussion? POST
From here, it depends on my mood - if I feel strongly about the topic and a Best Response is chosen, I won't read more than four or five pages of responses (I am on dial-up, you understand, and won't pay $50 or $60 to have an upgraded connection. I figure it will teach me patience.) And though I still say, "Patients are for doctors."
I am more apt to respond if a Best Response is not chosen, unless I feel I can make a quality post that I feel surpasses the alleged "Best Response"
I thought tagging increases one's earnings. I am averaging 1 1/2 cents per post, but occasionally I get surprised with an extra nickel. Are your earnings OK with not doing tags?
I never look at profiles unless they ask me to be their friend ;)

I read a lot of posts that I don't respond to. I try to only give responses that are asking for an opinion on subjects I like and not randomly answer questions. If I don't believe I'll be able to give a quality post I won't bother answering. When people don't respond to my response I don't take it personally. Either they had nothing relevant to say about my response or the discussion starter doesn't bother actually reading responses. I've been guilty of not responding back to responses only because I feel stupid just saying that I read the post. I don't bother with checking peoples profiles unless they are requesting to be my friend. Then I will check it out.

I usually answer straight from my email when i receive my friends notifications of their discussions then I reply from there. Sometimes I look at the discussion first and see what others have written, but mostly I reply right from my email.
Most of the time I reply to the responses I get, and sometimes if I don't have anything to say other than "thank you for your response" I don't respond.
I don't mind if others don't reply to my discussions, as long as it was able to help them with my two cents worth then that is ok with me.
I tag most discussions so that they are classified properly and sometimes if I can't be bothered then I don't. The reason is that sometimes I may check the discussions to see whether the topic has been done before, or to see what others used to tag their discussions.
When i get new friends requests then I check out their profile page. That is pretty much the only time I do other than if they are good friends, then I post comments on their page.

I read all the responses to my post although there are times that I am delayed in replying to them but I answered everything as soon as I can. Sometimes, I put tag if the original post doesn't have a tag but if there is I skip it. I am thankful if the people whose post I responded will take time to respond to my comment;however, if they don't care I can't do something about it. hehehe

I read a few response normally. If there is not too much words, or the response is not really alot, I read everything. For tagging, it really depends. Sometimes, it made sense to put in a tag and sometimes it just does not make much sense.
There is times when I read the discussion but did not respond either. All depends on my mood that day. :)

I don't read other responses before I write mine. Prefer discussing a topic using my original response without any influence from other responses. Most often I do tags but not always. And yes, I am guilty of not responding to a discussion after reading the discussion material. If I don't know an answer or can't offer any advice, may as well not post a response. I forget to check back into my original posts to see who has responded. Something I simply don't think to do! I also look at the age, gender and location of the person posting the initial discussion. Curiousity I suppose.

I rarely read other people's responses before I write mine.
I don't do tags.
Usually I'll come to discussion, do like 3 or 4, then I'll go to the 'discussions with no responses' section and do another 3 or 4.
I prefer if people respond but I don't get mad if they don't, I'm not overly popular here...

Hi kiobug. No i do not read everyones elses responses when i respond to a discussion.I always tag them and i do look at the pictures and the description.I feel like what i did(the response)was not good enough for them.I feel like i took time to respond,so why not at least give me some kind of feed back and acknowledge my response.I only look at pictures if they have some and if its a friend i give a remark,i look to see if its a girl or guy and their age.Alot though dont tell the truth and say they are the opposite of what they really are and their age also.I dont believe in that, tell the truth.Hahaha.

Sometimes I read the responses but not always. If is an advice type discussion I am more apt to read other's answers. I don't want to re-type what 9 other people already said.
Many times I read a discussion and choose not to answer. If I don't have anything to add to the discussion I am not going to write something irrelevent or make something up. So I just move on.
I don't always add tags. If I look at the tags already showing and I have a relevent one that hasn't been posted, I will add it. If not, I just skip it.
I look at people's profiles but not very ofen. Usually only when I am answering a discussion that it might make a difference where they live.
I always check back to see if someone has answered the discussion I started.

Depends. If the discussion is about something specific that I can share, then I don't read other people's responses, but if it's about something that's general and some other people have answered them correctly, then I would read other people's responses first 'coz I don't wanna write down the same thing.
And yes, I do look at the pictures attached to the discussions and rate them. ;-D And I always tag discussions he he he he...
When I look at people's profiles, I also look at their identity and discussions they make. ;-D

I read the question and if it interests me then I go to the question. I usually browse through the answers briefly and then post my own answer. I use the tags and sometimes add friends as I go along.

I just randomly check the discussion and also check the picturs and try to take part in the one which are interesting.
