A friend shared that the best way to define "WEALTH" as prescribed by financial experts would be, "how long you can live without having to work for money?"
Does it mean, if you have 12 months amount of savings that are good for 12 months of your current lifestyle, your wealth is equivalent to 12 months?
What do you think?

Hi jeanniemay! I think the financial expert is right and I agree with him completely. Too bad, I can just live for a couple of months then. hehe.. Or I might be forced to pawn all my jewelries and sell our properties just to get by without working for a couple of years. LOL! Got to work really hard becaused no matter how much I save, I just can't seem to keep them because there are always people who needs help and I just can't say No. Take care and have a nice day.

Wealth, for me its not only about money, because for me WEALTH involves health, money, family, and relationship with our Creator. Why? Can you imagine you HAVE ALL THE MONEY IN THIS WORLD yet you can only move your eyeball because you are that too sick. Or if not YOU that all money yet your family is broken and you dont even have a Spirituality within you, I cannot imagine that, So may be for me Wealth will be define as you are healthy with a very happy family worshiping GOD and survive without working for a lifetime.

All those movable and immovable properties acdquired by you or inherited by you or gifted to you which has some measurable value will be your wealth. But then I would like to add HEALTH IS WEALTH. GOOD FRIENDS ARE WEALATH. The income earned by an individual, if saved becomes part of the wealth. When a networth of a person is calculated, even the rings that he is wearing is added as a part of his wealth. To me a wealthy person is not one who has plenty of money acquired by all sorts, but a man who has respect for other humans, honest, upright person.

Enough money also meant to wealthy with themself. I f counting for three months enough or not is the move towards savings for future only. In villages lots of people living with pulses and spices only without more money towards savings are they not wealthy.

I don't really know. But for me wealth is always associated with money and the assets you posses. And I would agree, for you to be categorized as wealthy is always refered as to how much you need to work to be able to live. Wealthy individuals are those persons who don't need to work but still will be able to survive and can afford luxurious lifestyle.
