Did you buy your MINI on the Lot?

Not only are they super safe but they are fun to drive and really inexpensive. Did anyone actually buy theirs off the lot or order them. I ordered mine but I didnt have to get rid of my car I was driving at that point in time. I loved the experience of customizing my vehicle. Tell me about your experience.

I bought mine off the lot. It was used as a promo car before being sold. It had a few miles, but it was taken care of so well (to be shown off, obviously) that it looked and felt brand new. This was my first car, and now no other car could be better than a mini in my book! The dealership i went to had the best customer service imaginable. Everyone was laid back and i got more of a coffee-shop/lounge type of vibe from the place than anything else. I've been back a few times, for my car's regular checkups and whatnot. Its been years now since Percy (that's my car's name) came home with me and my mini is still looking good and kicking butt on the road! I'd love to test drive one of the new 07's, especially an S model. There aren't many Mini clubs around where i live, i've considered taking the lead and starting one up myself to see what kind of response i get.

My experience was similar. The guys at the MINI in Dallas were awesome.My Mini's name is Luna. She has had it rough but still kickin butt on the road. I actually walked out of my old aprtment once to find her rear end smashed in and the front bumper beaten off. Damn hit and run. Where are you located. MINI clubs have come near here but nothing for me to join either. You are involved on the Owner's Lounge right?
