Wow that is a huge amount of football teams to have within 1 high school. Begs the question as to what is the student population within that school?? That is something I would love to know!!! Does the school only have 1 Varsity Team??

The total enrollment as of the beginning of the school year (which was late August) was 3000 students with 584 of that are Seniors. There are 230 Professional Staff Members and 185 Teaching Staff Memembers and 5 full time guidance counselors.
I feel that this school is WAY to crowded.
It is the only High School in the district with a second high school to open the school year August 2009.
And yes, there is only 1 Varsity team.

Wow that is definitely a huge amount of students to be in only 1 High School!!!! We now have 3 High Schools in our town - which once again has claimed fame to be the Fastest Growing City in the Nation!!! I hate it now - there are way too many people here and not enough commercial growth to support this population as well as the super high taxes here!!!
In the High School that my oldest goes to - they are almost at 2000 students and the other 2 High Schools are about the same - with the newest one projected to be completed with phase 2 by the fall of 2008 and should be able to hold 3000 kids - but I will bet that if the population explosion continues - we will have to add a 4th High School to keep up.
We have over 20 elementaries, 4 Middle Schools with another projected to be completed by the fall of 2008!!
It's totally crazy living here - you can't even get across town from the east side to the west side in under 40 minutes or longer - due to most of the roads here are all so crowded!!!

That seems like an aweful lot of teams for one school. Then again it does give more kids the chance to play. The High School I graduated from had 3500 kids in it, and that was only Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors. My graduating class was 833. We only had one of each sports team, though.
