Well I looked everywhere but didn't find this question..soo..

I don't dress up for halloween. A few yrs ago, tho, the roomie had just gotten her new cape that another friend made for her & she wanted to go out. (This was a couple of weeks before halloween.) So another friend who was visiting & I donned a couple of my capes (yes, I have more than 1 cape) and we all bundled off to the bookstore. It was pretty amusing. The roomie can't see very well & is about 5'9, the friend can see well with her glasses on, and is actually a bit taller. And I am just a fraction over 5'. The friend & I were talking on between 2 shelves of books when a couple of gals turned & started down the aisle, looked at us, back up and left! We nearly fell on the floor trying to keep our giggles down! I then went over to ask something at information & a lady came up and asked me where I had gotten my cape - neither of the other 2 were approached, probably because of their intimadating sizes. It wasn't until checkout that the gal who checked us out that we met someone who while asking where we got our capes, also found the whole thing very amusing. It seems even the staff were a bit nonplused by us!
