where do you place your shoes at home?

we once had a shoe holder made of wood by ourselves in our dormitory. but our administrator said it's too ugly, influenced the beauty of the room,and demanded us to throw it away.so did we.
Now we have to store our shoes in our cupboard.Of course we could place them outside, just on the floor, but as the fear of our masters, we don't want to provoke them.
Now my 3pairs of shoes are in my cupboard, so where do you place your shoes?

I placed all my shoes in the shoe holder at the entrance of my apartment. Since I am living alone in an apartment and I just need to keep my own shoes. So far I have a pair of leather shoe (for work), sport shoe (for exercise) and a pair of sandals (for casual outing and activities). Therefore my shoe rack is have more space than enough for all my shoes. I still keep two or three pairs of old shoes, which I no longer need and yet to be disposed. I think I will keep them until next round of house keeping LoL. They are covered in thick dust and it will definitely going to take some time to clean the shoe rack and all the shoes on it.

Ya. I can understand that. Girl usually will like many many pairs of shoes. I was surprised by my ex when she keep on buying new shoes and throwing away the old one while they are still usable. That's totally contradicting to my norm but I gradually learned that it's a typical girl's behaviour. Just that sometimes I was frustrated because I need to allocate more budget to buy new shoes for her hehe.

I usually place several pairs of shoes that I frequently wear in my car. There are two pairs of high heels and scandals, and a pair of sport shoes in my car. By doing this I have the convenient to put on any pair of them whenever I need. The two pairs of flat shoes that I always wear I just place them on a small shoe holder at my porch. I then could easily put on either pair of them before going out. Whereas the others I keep them in the shoe cabinet.

I have a seperate shoe case where all our shoes are place. It is a wooden almirah with aluminium rods in it where the shoes are placed. Each row has a wooden slide beneath where the mud etc would accumilate when the shoes are placed in them. I have a seperate case for myself,my children and for my husband.

Most of my shoes are in the closet near the front door where we keep the coats. Some are on the floor in there, and some are in a fabric shoe holder that attaches to the clothes rod.
I also have some of my less-worn dress shoes up in my clothes closet because there isn't quite enough room in the downstairs closet.

i have my own shoes cabinet in my house 4 layer of woods so i can put the shoes separately in their style and colors i put also white plastic cover to prevent them from dust.
