I am so annoyed today. I have a home computer, which I use alot, specifically for coming on the internet to do things like Mylot. I have Windows, and MSN Messenger and Microsoft Interent Explorer..............AND IT'S ALL $#!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so fed up with these programs. Windows has been running uber-slow for about the last 6 months, I have cleaned up my desktop and re-alocated my files and all the stupid crap that you are supposed to do to keep you computer running well and still it runs like cole molasses up a hill. Everytime I finally find something that i have been searching for on the internet, I get a little error window for Internet Explorer, which upon clicking ANYTHING in it, shuts down all of my windows, putting me back at the beginning of my search. It also does this when I am trying to submit Mylot convorsations and then I lost everything I have typed. I have started copying and pasteing my discussions to notepad before trying to submit them so I don't lose all my work everytime. And today now, to top it all off, MSN Messenger seems to have stopped working. I haven't been able to log into the stupid thing for 2 days now. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yet Bill Gates is still a million-billion-zillion-aire. I think it's all a conspricay. I think these programs were designed to work for so long and then go the hell on purpose to force you to buy a new program. And finally I think the Bill Gates is the one making hte computer viruses so that he can sell more anti-virus software.
There, thank you for listening to my rant. Please let me know what you think about the conspiracy.

I don't use a lot of the stuff you use, but I have had problems with internet explorer and sometimes even just regular file things like copy and paste and they all started when I updated from Norton Internet Security 2006 to Norton Internet Security 2007. I had no problems before that. So what virus protection are you using? That could be part of your problem.

If you are using an On-Access scanner, than your computer is completely unprotected. On-Access means it will only look for viruses when you tell it to. You need to get a REAL virus scanner that is always on and provides constant protection. Otherwise, you're just asking for trouble. Try Avast Antivirus form www.avast.com It's free and works well. On Access scanners aren't bad as a back up, but they can't be your only antivirus solution.
