Hi! All
I like paper cutting and paper folding when I see some of them are very nice. They often embody the traditional Chinese culture. I am not good at it and I always buy some books about how to make them and at home, I'll study them and teach my kid how to make them.
In China, we like to put up some paper cuts on the glass of the window. The paper cuts are made of all kinds of color paper. The red paper cuts stand for the happy atmosphere fo the festival.

Hi!
Yes. Paper cuts can decorate your room. Some old people are good at making paper cuts in the street. Some can make a living for their popular paper cuts. Enjoy paper cuts!

I do all types of paper crafts... pop-up cards and books, altered books, dimensional origami, and I love doing paper cuts! I just did several hundred of them to hang up at my brother-in-law's party. It was a Mexican fiesta theme, and in Mexico they are called 'papel picado'. I stacked up 16 pieces of tissue paper, stapled the pattern on, and cut the whole stack at one time with a craft knife.
I also like doing silhouettes and cutting my own stencils. I am in my paper room all day, working on my greeting cards or scrapbook pages, and also making inventory for the etsy shop I plan to open soon. I have at least 100 books on these subjects, and lots of copyright-free designs. I would LOVE to have a 'paper buddy' to share patterns and ideas with!
