i am not saying this judgmentally, but i sometimes get the feeling that the bombing in glorietta last week was merely a ploy of the government to steal the limelight from our president's problematic regime. but if this is true, i feel an outrage, because lives were sacrificed just to cover up their wrongdoings. lives were sacrificed, as if they were just statistics. and that will also just go to show how our government doesn't have a heart. what do you think about this? have you heard of this news?

latest findings reveal that the bombing was an accident. probers have yet to further investigate and gather information to check the veracity of the pending reports that the explosion was caused by a gas leak and not by a bomb. as to your premise that it was a ploy by the government to divert the attention of fellow Filipinos from the real issues in corruption, i doubt about it. why would the government terrorize itself, when they have nothing to gain from committing such atrocious acts? well, let's refrain from speculating on the cause of the blast and allow the police’s investigation to proceed.

i admire your positive reaction ryan and for your trust and hope in our government. i do want that, because that is the very reason why i am staying here and not working abroad. but the problem is, the government continues to do anomalies daily and lie to us through their teeth and can stil sleep with their conscience intact. they can act and go on as if they have done nothing wrong. you know why i speculate such? because our president is involved in many controversies now and a news like that would remove the spotlight from her. our president is very intelligent, no doubt about that. but sometimes, too intelligent for her own good.

well, the truth is, our people are not dumbed anymore that they do not understand the real score. we have learned our mistakes from the past. but things should be done legally. i know, one day, just like what happened to our ex-leaders, all crooks in the government will be punished eventually.

It seems that the angle of it becing an accident is surfacing, I hope that it ends there and be proved that there was no sabotage nor terror attack. If that happens, it'll create another major blow in our economy. I'm not taking sides here, it's better to wait until further developments are gathered. Our government should atleast do their best here, so their detractors who wants to jump into these situation could shut their mouth and mind whatever business they are into.

thank you for your insights raijin. let's hope so. because our stocks and bonds are not doing well. but i am glad that our peso is gaining power over the dollar. although i know not too many people are happy about this, especially the dollar earners.
