Tell me why you think American companies choose Call Center's in the Philippines to answer their phone support? There are a lot of fortune 500 companies who have tech supoort billing supoort etc. all routed in the Philippines. Is it the cheap cost? or are Filipinos just really friendlier and better in giving customer service to our American Friends?

Many companies are sending their call center jobs to other countries because it costs them less money to operate them and they can pay lesser salaries to those in the other country. Companies here are so cheap and no wonder why there are so many people losing their homes and other things. Companies these days do not think about our well being. It is helping other countries and the people there. I would think it would cause some problems though because customers may have a difficult time understanding people in other countries.

it is a battle now in america.
yes, cheap cost. an american gets high pay.
but since the transfer of call center in the philippines, many in the u.s. are losing their jobs.
their unemployment rate has gone so high.

aside from cheap cost, Filipinos are good/superb in Customer Service. We have common sense and good communication skills compare to other countries.
