yes.turkey going to war.turkish troops near to iraq line.and turkish parliement vote for war with iraqi terrorists.iraqi terrorist (this group name is PKK)has a camps on turkish mountains.and turkish troops make cleaning.we lose 18 soldier in one week but what happen PKK terrorist we don t know because army didn t give a information about dead terrorist jsut we know army make cleaning on mountains and i guess 1 or 2 weeks later turkey going to northern iraq.i wish turkey is abdicate.because i will go army 6 mounths later and i have to be a commando.well i don t want to kill somebody.i can t take somelife because i didn t give that life.what can i do i don t know.die for your country is good think and i love my country.but i can t kill somebody.Mohammed crist say "killing is worst think but if you have to kill for your country or your religion you have to kill".infact i m not a moslim but i have to go and i have to kill.i don t afraid but i can t kill.what can i do i don t know i m so confused.please help me

Well... most countries in the West have an exclusion clause for people like you.
When they call you in the army... you tell them that it is against your believes to kill someone. And they will give you a position where you don't have to fight. They will make you a driver... a cook or something else. You might have to peel potatoes every day.
If that don't work... you will be faced with two choices... kill or be killed. Simple as that. The guy aiming at you does not care about your believes. War is about winning at all costs. It is a game of survival. Only the strong survives.
If Turquey goes to war... it is because it feels that its country is under attack... and unless it defend it... it would lose it. This scenario has existed since the beginning of time... and nothing has changed. Without protection... any country would be invaded overnight by another. It is the greed of human nature which makes it that way.
Unfortunately... what sucks... is that it is the young kids like you who have to pay the high price of protecting those in power sitting behind a desk and enjoying a life of luxuries.
Life is not fair... you better believe it.
You have my sympathy and I wish you the best. My only advice to you would be to prepare yourself mentally for it. Don't run away from the problem. Face it and get ready for it.

Well I can understand your country's position, terrorism is a problem here though not so much on our own soil, it is still something that needs to be dealt with and Turkey is no different. If you have issues taking a life, why did you join the military? Is military service manditory there? I guess the only thing to do is hope the kurdish artmy, iraqi government and U.S. forces can deal with the PKK beforte you guys have to go in on foot to take them out. War is never a good thing but it is sometimes a nessesary thing. I'm sure this is not a decision your government made lightly. I just hope they hold off a bit more and give a chance for other forces to work, the turkish army on the ground in northern Iraq caould seriously complicate things for us over there. I understand why Turkey feels it needs to do this but it would create a bigger mess, at least learn the lessons we did by going in there.

I do undrstand, you, I ralize this is in the interest of turkey's survival. No one wants to see turkey fall apart. Nor do we want to see that part of Iraq fall apart and that is exactly what will happen if the PKK succeeds so their elimination is as important to us as it is to you, I wish the best to you and your country. You guys are one of our best friends in the middle east. We are trying to stop the PKK too. The creation of a nation of "kurdistan" is neither a good thing for Turkey or for Iraq, and would lead to further U.S. troubles in Iraq so it is not good for the U.S. either. Again we understand that this is for Turkey's survival.
I also want to take a moment to apologize on behalf of my country for the actions in our now democratic party controlled congress, I'm spealking of the resolution introduced by that dumb bytch, Nancey Pelosi, that dug up an ancient issue at the most inconvenient time in our relations. I am talking about the armenian issue. It has no bearing on our relationship today and should never have even been brought up.One can't help but wonder what her motives could be for doing so out of the blue at this crucial time other than she is on the hardcore anit war left and wants nothing more than to see us fail in iraq, and insulting a chief ally of ours over there on Iraqs border is one such way to insure failure there, especialy Turkey. I don't know much about the armenian issue so I cant expound on it but no matter what it was about, I can't see this resolution being relevent or helpfull to either us or Turkey.

If you kill a person in a war you kill him not for yourself but for your country for your fellow people save them from foreign invasion.You do not intent to kill innocent people but kill the invaders and peace killers.It is your duty as a member of the armed forces to defend your country.So don't hesitate anymore go ahead
