I started a diet this week, nothing too drastic, I am just using recipes a nutrtionist made up to ensure that I get the proper proportions of protein/carbs/fat.
The problem is that I am a vegetarian and so pretty much every single meal she has created for me involves low fat cheese. I have never been a big fan of cheese, it is only day three and already I am looking for alternatives.
Can anyone tell me what I could substitute for an ounce of cheese?

Why are you to eat the cheese? is it for the calcium and or vitamin D. 1 cup of these foods boiled are excellent sources for Calcium. Turnip greens, Spinach, mustard greens as well as collard greens and Swiss chard. 2 teaspoons of basil, thyme, cinnamon and blackstrap molasses are also good sources of calcium. When I looked for vitamin D the only source was shrimp, Salmon, cow’s milk, cod and eggs. I get my information from The worlds healthiest foods at http://whfoods.org/
