I signed up yesterday thinking YEAH I have lots to say, I can make money! I post everywhere else on the web why not here!
So I posted ONE reply and left it alone for a day. My earnings? $0.01! I better have loads to say if I'm going to want to feed my kids! So then I thought, ha! I'll register my blogs... lol they don't qualify! OK then I'll stick to discussions and replies. What out everyone, I've got mouths to feed!

You will not make enough here to feed your children. I suggest depending on what ages they are, to look into a part time job, maybe while they are in school (if they are old enough). If they are too young for school then see if a family member or a friend can watch them for a few hours.
Yeah flipping burgers at mcdonalds isn't glamorous but you do what you gotta do to feed your kids.
I've been here almost a week and have made many replies and discussions and have only earned 83 cents.
Mylot does not pay much at all. Even if it paid a dollar a day that'd only be 300 dollars a year. I am disapointed in the pay, but I stay because it's a fun website. I figure eventually in a few months maybe I'll reach payout.
There are also many at home work oppurtunities, mailing out flyers or some such from home. Look into that if your children are too young to be left at a baby sitter's for a few hours.

I think she was probably joking about needing to earn money to feed her kids. lol. If not, then yes you are right.

I couldn't agree more. If you think about it, myLot probably couldn't afford to pay everyone $1 a response. They'd go broke. But, I'll see how it goes for a while. Hey, you never know, you may find new friends.

You mean my kids are going to starve? 100 posts a day at a penny each would be $1 per day... that's not even enough for a loaf of bread, but maybe if I bake it myself and buy a cow and churn my own butter, we can all live off of that! And water from the stream of course! Realistically, 100 posts at 5 minutes each would be 500 minutes and THAT'S a full time job in itself!
OMGosh I was soooo kidding! I'm a respite worker, I care for children with disabilities. I wouldn't have time to milk a cow even if I waned to! i'm here for the fun of it. Like I said before, I post everywhere else on the web, why not here and get some candy spending money while I'm at it! I'm up to 3 cents now, almost enough for licorice!

Well, welcome to mylot! It is a pretty good place. I love to get on here because I can type my heart out and earn money while doing it. Its nice for someone to actually want my opinion. I hope you enjoy mylot.
