Our first and last love is.. self-love

Do you agree with that? I dont quite understand what is self-love. Does it mean to be responsible with oneself? I thought if someone is self-love, it means that they are in their own world, only caring and loving themselves. What do you think?

As the saying goes "In order to love someone, you have to love yourself first." It means the same. We have to love ourselves before we can love someone else. When we lose the love we have for ourselves, we cannot love someone else. Self love basically means that we need to hold onto our good qualities and our strengths when we are feeling bad about ourselves. You love yourself enough to know that you are not perfect, make mistakes, and have problems. In order for you to love someone else, you need to accept your faults before you can accept someone elses.

I am not so sure about these sentence. I think I can love someone so much that I am willing to do anything to make that person happy. I put myself first before anyone.
2. You love yourself enough to know that you are not perfect, make mistakes, and have problems. In order for you to love someone else, you need to accept your faults before you can accept someone elses.
I always know that there is imperfection in myself and I can accept and admit my fault quite easily but still I dont know if I really love myself. lol

There is nothing wrong with the saying that first love or last love is self love. It does not mean that you are self centred. Not necessarity true.
If someone loves you that does not mean that that person loses a right to love some other person at the same tiem. A mother of a child loves the child and at the same time she loves her husband too. Same is true for one's own self also. If one is in self love, that may mean that one loves oneself first but does not mean that one does not love anyone else. In the real world everyone has self love.
