No, they are not poisonous. It is normal for the medicine to taste bitter.
We have to take the medicines if we are sick, though it is bitter in taste. It is for your own benefit as well.

Hello dear Armortec. So long as it is good to our health, I do not care too much about its being bitter at all. We have a saying in China, "bitter taste, good medication". I hold this belief that it is more effective to help us cure disease from taking bitter medicine.
