hi! Now a days i think you are not the only one facing this kind of problems. we know pretty well its hard to find a job if you do not have backer or persons that can help you.i think for the mean time just work whatever work its is for as long as it can answer your needs than nothing at all but while you are working at the same time make a friend who can help you to find a job which is suited to your course and give you a bigger salary.

That problem was an ordinary problem faced by every graduated students. I know it is hard to find a job that suites your qualification. But I suggest you to start from bottom first. I was graduated as a degree holder in engineering field in middle 2005. It is not very hard to find the suitable job but the hard thing is to win the interview. Usually most companies not willing to employ fresh graduates. They are looking for experienced staff. I have tired of find for suitable job that day. So I start as a sales assistant in a small shop. After almost 2 months, I accidently having a conversation with one of our customer. This customer work as a project engineer and currently looking for a apprentice. So I don't wanna lose that chance. I went to the interview and I got the job as an assistant engineer. The company considered as small company. I have to work hard with the labour. After a year of working in that field, I have known severals friends who have the same job as mine but at different company. A friend of my who work with a big company ask me if I can work with them. Then I think deeply and I found that their company will brings more challanges and benefits to me. I went to the interview, I tell them my experience. A month later, I received a call that asking for me when do I can start working with them. So I ask for 2 months. I started working with the new company with higher salary. My title was an engineer. After a year, I was promoted to be as acting facility manager at their site office. That is what I am currently now. I hope you can have something with my experience. Starts from bottom is the best way for you to gain more experiences. Good luck...

My husband has been searching for a job for 5 years now and can't find one. His problem is he is 60 and so qualified that he always knows more than the person that is hiring him and that person fears for their job as they can tell from his resume he knows more than they do so I don't want him working under me and maybe taking my job. That is the biggest problem. Then there is the one where they call (he is in construction) and say they have been searching everywhere for so long for someone qualified and he is just what they have been looking for...and the the regular phrase of "I'll talk to the owner and I'll get back to you next week". Of cousre they never do. Here they admit they need him, but one, don't hire him on the spot. and two - don't hire him at all! But to offer thoughts to you - have you put your resume on monster.com and other job search places? I have husbands on 4 job searchs and they jobs are few and far between for his classification (thanks to multi=tasking and down sizing and "team playing" in the 90's) they alwasy want one person who can do the job of 2-3 persons but since it is only one person, they only have to pay one salary but get the work of 2-3. But put your resume on as many job search sites you can find and make the proper option that they send you listing every day that are in your classification. i get them every day for all 4 places and then yo pick and choose which ones are specifically for you. Business Admin - is pretty popular. ANd check online to local papers in your area. There are 4 major city papers here and instead of buying all the papers, just go online and check the classifieds. You could even go to some emplyment agencies like MAnpower and such. When I was working years ago and had no skills, I signed up with 5 agencies in this area and between them all, I worked steadily for about a year until i got something permanent. Gives you skills, job stability and job history and that is what employers are looking for - well, these days they also look for and put most emphasis on how much salary you want and often just take the lowest salary they can find and deal and complain about the problems hiring an unqualified person brings one board. Good luck to you..
