What is your most favorite story line of General Hospital?

I have been watching since 1969 - remember Jesse Brewer and Dr Hardy and Audrey was a stewardess turned nurse!?!?
But if you were to choose one story line - which would it be? I personally could never stand Luke and Laura - I could stomach Luke but Laura was nothing but nausiating. But - the Ice Princess story line was the best ever, I think. Robert Scorpio was better than Luke! But that was an ingenious and fun, out of the ordinaery story line and even tho it was totally imageniary and all, it was fun to watch! I just wonder why they never brought back Mikos, Tony or Alexandria! If Helena could freeze Stavros and bring him back, why didn't she go collect Mikos and do the same? Oh, yeah, she wouldn't have all the power! I sure miss her and her good story lines. Remember Elizabeth Taylor was the first to portray Helena at Luke and Laura's wedding?

I have also been watching GH since 1969. Never before has a couple of characters, a story line with great potential gotten to me as much the Jason and Elizabeth storyline. I am so proud to be one of the thousands of Liason fans in the fanbase that just wouldn't quit (Steve Buurton's words, October 20th 2007 Chicago, first annual Liason event) Eight years in the making and we are finally seeing our couple coming together and have ever lasting ties to each other in Port Charles. Not to mention Baby Jake between them. Most ever and losngest period of angst for any soap fictional couple. Will he ever leave the mob for his family? Will she ever get used to what he does for a living? How will their boys fair through all of this? Will they every have their dream wedding/honeymoon in Italy? Will they play pool together again? Or will he let her drive his motorcycle again? Does he STILL think she 'smells like snow'??? Come on TPTB, we are waiting for the answers to these and many more avidly awaited Liason moments!

Well, if you don't like Jason with Elizabeth---you are not going to continue enjoying GH very much methinks. Sam had been with every guy on the show (Sonny and Jax in the same night, ewwwww) except Nik---but hey she slept with her mama's husband, why not her cousin??? I think she'd do great with Jerry Jacks actually...birds of a feather, lol! Also Jerry's about the only one she'll be able to run to when Lucky finds out she knew about Jake and didn't tell him....Gotta love GH!

I liked Sam when she was with Jason - that was a good match. But on her own, there is so much they could do with the character, but htey are just letting her flounder wherever and I'm not a fan anymore. Jerry was wicked as that other guy that did the terrorist thing, but with his change, I think he'd be a good character to take the spot light for a storyline. I'm tired of Nicholas too - give the guy a point in life - give him a storyline - he is a Cassidine and that initself makes him a pivotal character - stop wasting it! And if we are talking about who's with who - all Sonny does is go around and populate Port Charles. What a waste of a good character!

Nah, I don't like Jason with Elizabeth. HE needs someone strong. I liked him with Sam. I am really tired of the Elizabeth and Emily and Robin. None of them (the characters, not the actresses) have any point to them!

i would have to say robin and stone for one, they story line with elizabeth and jason that one is getting good.. but i think the one that put me on the egde of my seat would have to be when the metro court was blown up that one was a good one.. this thing with nicholas i really hope they find out what is going on in his head, it is getting to the point where i am wondering if he will really let sam fall of the building or if he will snap out of it, before she falls....

Actually Sam's portrayer signed a new contract with GH so she'll be around awhile longer.

My current favorite storyline is Robin looking for a donor for her baby.
I also liked Robin and Stone. Also, the train wreck in the tunnel was good.
Stripper Karen was fun too!
