I have already deleted some friends who upon scrolling down on their profiles had not log on for many months, inactive accounts. I am still thinking if i have to delete friends who never shared or responded on my posted discussions after gaining some responses on me, gathering points that eventually gave them some cents on their earnings.

I still have those inactive friends here on my friendlist because I think that they might be active in the near future and maybe it is just because they are busy with their work and have no time to mylot. I will keep the inactive as my friends.

Same here. I do keep my friendlist and never intend to delete them even if they are not active or does not respond to my discussion. They probably just dont know what to respond to my discussion anyway or they might be away from mylot for a while. There is no harm keeping your friendlist as it is because friendship never ends.

I not only delete the names of the friends from the list who are inactive, also in addition to this, I delete those who do not respond to my discussion topic, eventhough I have responded plenty of their topics. It is not one sided traffic. If people do not have regards, I could not care less either.

I go through my friends lists every so often, I usually delete the ones the have not logged in for two months or more..I feel bad but I just want my list to be manageable..If they ever return they can always request to be friends again if they like..

Plum, it depends upon personal discretion and choice. Initially, I did not use to delete any name from my list of friends. But later on I felt that my list is increasing day by day...and there are some who either added me as their friend or I added them as my friend, who have become 'inactive' over a period of time. I waited for those 'inactive' members say for more than 5 months, to some of them, I sent PMs to know about their whereabout, but when I did not get any response, I finally decided to delete those members from my list, who were inactive for more than 'six months'. If I see that they have re-surfaced on mylot, I won't mind sending them a request for adding me as their friend or vice versa.
Good Post Indeed!

I have taken a few people off, but only after checking their profiles & seeing that they hadn't even signed on in MONTHS!
I'm kind of worried about some of my other friends since I used to get a lot of discussions with them & really liked them so I am sorry they haven't been on lately.

Personally if anyone of my friends in my list has ever replied to me and their opinion helped me,touched me or impressed me i will never erase them from my list. I don't think activity or not is the key when you make a decition to cut somebody off your life. The key is if there is a bridge between you and your friend just like the real life even my pal diden't appear for years they still in there! but some guy keep silent all the time and never throw me a word i think its time to dismantle the bridge!!:):)
